One For The Family

This room features a fun pink polka dotted wallpaper with coordinating Roman shades. Above the windows are mounted upholstered cornice boards with custom monograms in the same fabric. The ceiling is painted a soothing light yellow, and the Robert Abbey lantern introduces teal into the space. The custom wool area combines the three colors (pink, yellow, and teal blue) and provides soft padding underfoot.

The chest, by Oomph, is in a white lacquer finish with pink tassels. The lamps in the space were given new custom yellow linen shades with blue banding. A close up of the chest showcases the white gourd lamp with custom yellow shade, and yellow tissue cover by Pacific Connections.

A bold yellow cabinet with circle mullions provides much needed storage and display space in the nursery. Above suspends a white and teal blue lantern by Robert Abbey.

A warm and inviting little boy’s room with tailored navy and white wallpaper by York Wallcoverings. The John Derian lamp features a coordinating lampshade in a faux bois pattern.

A niche was framed on either side of the bed to create a space for storage.

A trundle bed upholstered in a Quadrille fabric stores an extra mattress for sleepovers. Wall sconces by Circa Lighting provide bedside reading, and a chair re-upholstered in a Malabar fabric provides extra seating. Tailored flat Roman shades with navy banding dress the windows.

Above the bed baseball mementos are displayed, and wall sconces by Circa Lighting provide light for reading.

The elegant master is painted a soft blue, and there are antique brass accents throughout. A raffia bedside chest by Made Goods is shown next to the metal four poster bed by Oly. Full length drapery panels dress the window.

Above the upholstered headboard hangs a round mirror flanked by a pair of decorative sconces by Circa Lighting. Bedding by Legacy Home features a light blue banding to coordinate with the soothing wall color.

The bedding features custom monograms. The convex mirror over the bed features a frame of antiqued mirror panels.

Custom cabinetry in the master bath includes a pair of towers for linen storage. A pair of unique mirrors make a statement, with frosted pendants overhead. The tiled floor is a square marble set on the bias.

The master bath features an elegant freestanding porcelain tub in front of a pair of windows, which are dressed with relaxed Roman shades.

The office space includes cabinetry in a dark and moody warm brown hue. The ceiling is covered in a marbleized paper by Kravet, which matches the fabric on the modern office chair by Bradley. Lucite and brass sconces provide lighting in the space.

The office built-ins feature inset wire mesh panels, and brass hardware by Nest Hardware.

This first floor powder room showcases an antique brass console sink by Newport Brass, topped with a custom marble top with a contoured backsplash. The gold fern wallpaper is by Thibaut.

This walk-in pantry off the kitchen features cabinetry painted a deep slate gray, and a fun coral and gray wallcovering by Makelike introduces some whimsy.

The laundry room mirrors the walk-in pantry with the same wallpaper and cabinetry color. The stone counter is a durable soapstone, and parsons shelves provide additional storage and display space above the cabinetry.

The main entry has a marble tile floor installed in a black and white checkerboard pattern. On the left hand side you will find a cozy parlor with mural paper by Susan Harter.

This shot from the Parlor shows a lovely curved-back chair from Lee Industries upholstered in a durable Duralee cut velvet. The mural wallpaper is by Susan Harter, and features an idyllic landscape. Off of the space is the foyer, which features a brass lantern by Mr. Brown. The custom front door has a circle motif, which has been echoed throughout the home, including the kitchen cabinetry.

The ceiling has been painted a lovely sky blue to coordinate with the wallpaper. The silk drapery panels are mounted on a curved board, which decorative tassel tie backs. A set of four matching round-back chairs encircle a round brass and glass coffee table by Worlds Away.

The Parlor features a gas fireplace with a stone surround and white painted mantel. The quatrefoil planter is from Chelsea House, and each chair is provided with a small drink table by Arteriors.

The Parlor is flooded with soft natural light. The custom round trellis area rug in green and blue is by Tamarian.

This mudroom features matching corner cabinets with antiqued mirrored doors with octagonal mullions. The floor is a brick tile laid in a herringbone pattern. A custom winged bench provides seating beneath coordinating custom art in black and emerald. An antique mirrored lantern by Urban Electric is suspended above.

The opposite side of the mudroom features a feature wall with antique brass panels with an antique brass rosette. A bowed chest provides additional storage.

The butler’s pantry cabinetry mirrors the adjacent kitchen cabinetry, in a white finish with a dry brush glaze. A wall-mounted Newport Brass faucet is mounted atop a scalloped stone backsplash. The countertop is fabricated in a honed Taj Mahal quartzite, which is both durable and stunning.

The counter to ceiling upper cabinets in the butler’s pantry feature glass shelves, interior lighting, and brass wire mesh. Brass hardware is by Nest Studio.

The dining room features a round dining table by Century in a white painted finish. The rich wallpaper is a textured foil by Winfield Thybony. The sideboard is a beautiful rounded front piece by David Iatesta with a stained top. Above it is mounted a large round mirror by Made Goods, which has a faux shagreen frame, and on either side are table lamps by Arteriors with marble bases.

The dining room ceiling is also treated with the same foil paper, and from it is suspended a large beaded chandelier by Aidan Gray. The area rug is a durable sisal with a cotton binding, which has an applied nail trim. The windows are dressed in full length drapery panels in a fabric by Grove Brothers.

The kitchen counters are fabricated in a honed Mother of Pearl quartzite. Facing the back yard sits a dining nook with a built-in bench upholstered in teal blue leather. A rustic white table base by Tritter Feefer is adorned with a glass top for casual dining. Above is a lantern by Mr. Brown.

The custom kitchen hood, and adjacent refrigerator panels, share unique circle paneling. The cabinetry is a white painted finish with a dry brush glaze. The quartzite countertop material extends up the backsplash. Counter height stools in a durable teal leather are pulled up to the long island.

The lengthy kitchen island also showcases the circle paneling on the end panels. A pair of brass pendants from Circa Lighting are suspended above for task lighting.

The family room off the kitchen provides generous seating for the entire family. A pair of chairs with matching ottomans by Kravet features a woodsy print by Jane Shelton. The windows are dressed with full-height drapery panels in a whimsical Lulu DK print. Finally, the walls are warmed with a metallic grasscloth, and a beautiful hand-woven area rug ties the space together featuring hues of blue, green, naturals, and pink.

The family room also features a skirted sofa, now upholstered in a neutral fabric with a tape trim detail applied to the cushions and skirt. A large-scale ottoman provides both a place to rest one’s feet, and toy storage beneath with fabric bins. The fireplace provides the focal point.

An extensive collection of antique majolica has been displayed with a series of acrylic shelves, which allow the pottery to shine. Beneath is a bench by Thibaut, which is upholstered in a wipe-able faux leather.

This final image of the living room showcases the majolica collection in reference to the overall space. Opposing the sofa is a pair of swoop-arm chairs upholstered in an M&K Textiles fabric. Between the chairs is a custom grasscloth side table in coral. In front of the fireplace sits a pair of children’s chairs which have been re-imagined in a fun orange zebra print.
