A beautiful custom bed by Hickory Chair is upholstered in a Bennison floral fabric, with a matching bedside desk, also by Hickory Chair. The windows are dressed in London shades on curved boards in the matching fabric with tassel trim. The beaded ceiling fixture is from Canopy Designs.

A beautiful calm living room resides on the second floor, with a sofa reupholstered in a coral velvet by Schumacher, and a pair of bow front chairs in a lively Cowtan and Tout floral. A round Thibaut ottoman upholstered in a Jerry Pair leather serves as a coffee table, and the walls are papered in a Cowtan and Tout grasscloth with a green trellis pattern. The brass chandelier is by Circa Lighting, and the space is grounded by a Fibreworks sisal rug.

A welcoming nook is created in a guest bedroom with a custom bed canopy in linen. A board mounted valance hangs above the headboard, with pleated back and side panels. Antique rugs warm up the space, and at the foot of the bed sits an antique bench upholstered in a fun dragon inspired Carlton V fabric.

Finds from the client’s travels are proudly displayed, with a vibrant oil painting stealing the show.

The dining room walls are covered in a gorgeous coral hand-painted wallcovering by Gracie, and windows are dressed with vibrant yellow silk draperies. An antique crystal chandelier illuminates the antique mahogany dining table.

At the center of the dining table sits a quatrefoil-shaped tray lined in antique mirror, with a beautiful green floral arrangement, and decorative porcelain figurines.

An antique tea set with hand-painted butterflies is at the ready on an antique demilune in the dining room. The coral Gracie hand-painted wallpaper is visible behind, with depictions of blooming tree branches and birds.

The formal living room on the first floor greets visitors with a grand fireplace with a massive brass mirror mounted above the mantel. A pair of Thibaut settees upholstered in green sit on either side, with a pair of antique black chinoiserie cane chairs facing the fireplace. Black nesting tables with gold detailing provide a landing place, and a custom wool and silk area rug ties the space together.

This shot of the living room showcases the stunning custom David Iatesta display cabinets which flank the fireplace. The cabinets are constructed of beautiful crotch mahogany and the glass doors have brass mullions. The interior is painted coral to correspond with the draperies on the bay window.

The kitchen has been reimagined in a Brunschwig & Fils green and white toile wallpaper with Roman shades in a matching print. The pendant by Circa Lighting also boasts a matching shade. The fretwork dining chairs provide a punch of color with a burnt orange frame. The cabinetry was given new life with new drawer frames and hardware.

Part of the charm of revamping an old house are the antique fixures with patina, such as this brass pendant.

The living room settees, by Thibaut, are upholstered in a Colefax & Fowler fabric. The windows are dressed in soft valances with full length drapery panels, fabricated in a beautiful soft Grove Brothers fabric.

A bench with a curved back is upholstered in a beautiful cut velvet by GP & J Baker. It is nestled into the living room’s front window, which is dressed in drapery panels in a soft orange.

A custom stone mosaic backsplash ties into the toile green and white wallpaper enveloping the rest of the space. The cabinetry has been provided a new life with new drawer fronts in a bright white, with brass and lucite hardware by House of Antique Hardware.

A custom pillow case is fabricated using an antique embroidered textile and Samuel & Sons tassel trim. The antique chair is upholstered in a beautiful Clarence House velvet.

One of the artworks in the formal living room is this framed collection of antique Mahjong tiles.

On the living room mantel sits a beautifully hand-painted herend crane candle holder. The details are what make this space so special.
