MEET THE TEAM
Shazalynn Cavin-Winfrey — designer, tastemaker, and founder of SCW Interiors — has spent over 25 years creating homes that center the lives of the people in them.
Her path to design is as layered as her interiors: rooted in the Southwest, educated at the University of Texas, the Culinary Institute of America, and Parsons School of Design in New York. That rare combination — art, food, architecture, and living — informs everything she touches. Shazalynn believes a centered home is the foundation of a rewarding life, and every project she undertakes is built on that belief.
Her work has been featured on the covers of House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Luxe, and Veranda, and she is recognized by Architectural Digest as an AD PRO designer. She works with clients nationally from SCW's Austin, Texas studio.
Taylor Moore, lead designer at SCW grew up in Arizona before making moves to Texas to study design at the University of Texas School of Architecture. Her design career began in NYC she worked in retail design & hospitality design before transitioning to residential. Taylor’s passionate vision for interiors is second to her love for Poppy, our favorite office dog.
Laura Covert came to SCW with a passion for interiors and is responsible for daily operations. Laura is a graduate of The University of Texas where both her daughter and son also attended and a lifelong Austin-ite.
Jenny Butterworth grew up in Midland, Texas with Shazalynn before they attended The University of Texas together. When Jenny is not managing details at SCW, you can find her chasing one of her many dogs, at the driving range or continuing to enjoy the wonderful things that Austin has to offer.
